There’ll be mulled wine and mince pies in keeping with the season, and discussion of lots of exciting news for cycling, both local and national, including:
- Cyclescape: a new campaign tool
- Public health responsibilities: how the changes could help us promote evidence-based public health interventions
- West Oxfordshire sustainable transport forum: what they’ve been up to
All bicycle users welcome! If you’d like to come, it would be great if you could let Witney BUG know so they can make extra mince pies: you can get in touch with them through Sustainable Witney, or their email address is on their website. But if you’re not sure, you can always just turn up on the night and maybe there’ll be mince pies left….
(Unfortunately, Rachel of Bamboo Bikes has had to postpone her proposed talk.)
The Witney Bicycle User Group AGM will take place on Wednesday 12th December at 8pm in Madley Park Hall.
In keeping with the season we’ll have mulled wine and mince pies while we take a look at Cyclescape, a new campaigning tool, and the role public health is about to play in active travel.
All bicycle users welcome!
